Third Full-Length Album

Hey Everyone,

I've officially begun work on my third full-length album. I'm still working on Retraced EP, but I'm trying to work on the two at the same time. The full-length won't be out until a few years but I'll post a few songs as I finish them and also depending on which ones I feel represent what I'm trying to do with the album.

I'll say this about it.... It won't sound anything like the first two albums and it will be LONG. I'm going for something that goes much deeper than just songwriting. Don't expect to hear anything like The Art of Creation. As I've said before, I don't like repeating myself. I think it will be just as complex and layered as The Art of Creation, but don't expect to hear any machine sounds. I'm also using anything I can to make sounds to fit in this album, even sides of door frames and paintbrushes. I'm pretty sure I'll use well over 100 different things to make it. I'm hoping that I can put out around 2 hours worth of material for it because I feel like I've been writing enough songs to fill that time frame; and it won't be just filler songs. I plan on it having both vocal and instrumental tracks.

I'm very excited about this one. I've been excited about it for a while, ever since I knew the direction I wanted to pursue with it and the direction that I wanted to take SeKtoR 7 into. Other than that, I'm still working vigorously on Retraced EP. I keep trying to balance all of this with my other things that I like to do. Actually Do Something For Oklahoma

Hey Everyone,

Following the tornado that happened in Oklahoma a couple of days ago, I found it absolutely neccessary to post this. Simply putting #PrayForOklahoma on your Twitter page doesn't help anything.... Actions speak louder than words ever will so if you really want to help, donate to the Red Cross and give a family the money they need to help rebuild their homes or for hotel expenses as they're waiting for the damage to clear out.

Snippet of an Unreleased Song

Hey Everyone,

Here is a portion of an unreleased song that I intended to go on The Art of Creation, but due to processing errors while I was doing production work on it, it only exists now as a half complete WAV file. Here it is though in case anyone wants to try to do something with it. I've also included one of the first demos I did for SeKtoR 7 that didn't get put on the album. Enjoy.

No More Physical Copies of Albums

Hey Everyone,

I've decided that I am not going to sell physical copies of the album anymore. You can download the MP3 versions completely free still, but I'm not going to sell a physical copy anymore. I'll include the album artwork in with each ZIP file for the downloads. In other news, I haven't yet started working on Retraced. I've been really busy with many other things, but I'm actually planning on starting it in the next week or so. It'll be a relatively quick release.... I hope. Anyways, thanks for always being patient with me and see you in 2013.

I just want to put it out there that anyone who wants to use any of my work in their own videos, films, games, etc., has my discretion to do so. I leave these songs open to interpretation for people to do what they want with them. Also, if you want to remix any of my work.... I am completely open to that. All I ask is that you send me an email (bwortham@sektor7music.com) and tell me so that I can listen to it because I enjoy listening to other people's work as well. Finally after three years and a sleepless night trying to get this thing uploaded, the album is here! You can download it completely FREE at the bottom of the page or you can buy the album for $9.99 in the Store link. Also, one week from today, a poll will open on the site for you to vote on SIX songs for the EP. You can read more details in the headline titled Classical/Orchestral EP.

People Exterminating Thousands of Animals

Hey Everyone,

It is with great disgust and a feeling of betrayal that I should have to bring this news upon you. For those of you who don't know, I am a huge supporter of animal rights. I think throughout most of my life, I've had better relationships with animals than I have people. I sought after a way in which I could help make whatever kind of a difference I could in the lives of animals that were being killed or tortured. So, using my ass instead of my brain, I decided I would join up with PeTA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).... or so they call it. Like many, I found the horrible truth of what Ingrid Newkirk was really doing. If you are unaware of this woman's actions, please take a few minutes and read this link: Ingrid Newkirk Should Resign

I have since burned every PeTA shirt that I own and cut off all of my funding to this hypocritical, two-faced organization. Help spread this news to all of your friends who are supporters of PeTA. Let them know the truth of the "most popular animals rights group in the world". If you have any questions or suggestions on ways to force her resign, please leave them in my questions box in the Guests section. Thank you all for taking the time to read this post and reflect on it. It's been a pretty rough afternoon for me after hearing this. Better late than never....

Album Not Released in August

I have determined that there is actually no way I will have The Art of Creation ready by August. In fact, it may not be released until 2012. I've been working as much as possible on it and it's still not exactly where I want it to be. I will keep you all posted on when I have an exact date figured out. It won't be much longer though and I think it will be well worth the extra wait. Thank you all again for your continued support and patience.
